Ky-Mani Marley was a popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the wealthiest and most affluent. In the classic cult movie Shottas in which he was a co-star with Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996 With Father Like Son and several singles, including Judge Not with Patra then Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Does It (remix) and Sensimelia All of these contributed to his increasing popularity among the newest generation of reggae musicians. Ky-Mani, as well as Praswell as well as Fugees (as as part of Avenue) is a huge rendition of a cover by Eddy Grant called Electric Avenue was released in the year 1997.
